Toba Lake water surface is about 900 meter above sea level.  It is estimated that the current Toba Lake created by Toba Super Volcano eruption. Toba Super Volcano has erupted several times in past, the last eruption estimated about 74.000 years ago. The eruption created a huge caldera around the Toba Super Volcano.
