Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) on their website itdc.co.id describe their 45 years journey in developing their flagship successful The Nusa Dua Resort in Bali Island. The Nusa Dua began in 1974 when ITDC took over what was unproductive coastal land with the pursuit of creating a luxury tourism enclave, one that would go on to attract an upper-end demographic of international travellers and large scale conventions and exhibitions, such as the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings 2018, held at the prestigious Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC). The development of The Nusa Dua, is the World Bank’s first tourism project for Indonesia, acted as the catalyst for Bali tourism while providing the Balinese and the Indonesian people across this legendary archipelago with a benchmark for future destinations.
The Nusa Dua Resort have successfully hosted many international class events in Indonesia. On June 2022, Vespa World Day 2022, where many Piaggio's product users came to Nusa Dua Resort Bali from all over provinces in Indonesia and also from abroad. Lot of Vespa variants including old vespas and modification showed on the event. A lot of business and governmental meetings and conferences been held in ITDC Nusa Dua.
On November 15 - 16, 2022, The ITDC Nusa Dua Resort will be the location of G20 SUMMIT, where many world leaders from the 20 most developed countries in the world will come to Nusa Dua Bali attending the world-class conference. There are some beautiful beaches around The ITDC Nusa Dua Bali where the G20 Summit 2022 delegation can enjoy in their free time. The shoreline along the Nusa Dua Resort mostly white sandy beaches started from Tanjung Benoa Beach in front of The Club Med Nusa Dua Bali to Geger Beach in front of The Mulia Hotel and Resort Bali. A rocky beaches at Pura Geger Beach and Sawangan Beach which then turn to white sandy beach in front of The Hilton Bali adjacent to the new Canna Beach Club in Nusa Dua.

The main access to Nusa Dua Resort only Jalan Bypass I Gusti Ngurah Rai and Bali Mandara Toll roads. ITDC Nusa Dua Bali only about 30 minutes car riding from Ngurah Rai International Airport, the only International Airport in Bali Island. The others access to The Nusa Dua Resort are by shipper boat sailing over Indian Ocean or helicopter or amphibious planes which can landing at the Nusa Dua or Tanjung Benoa Bay seawater.
